HomeKey onboards all details for each home. Our customer service success team uses standard documents already developed for the community and home building process. The HomeKey platform adds in all the details for each item, as well as user guides, warranties, and more.

How do we get home specifications to you and what happens if they change?

HomeKey can accept community and home specifications in a multitude of ways depending on your building management system. These range from as simple as via PDF documents to data integrations with large, third-party software platforms.

How do you create your maintenance plans?

Maintenance plans are created for each individual home, based on what's installed in the home using a multitude of technologies and third party datasets. HomeKey is in alignment with each manufacturer's maintenace recommendations and cleaning product requirements.

Can the homeowner submit a warranty request through HomeKey?

Yes. All warranty requests are linked to the builder's online service request form. HomeKey can pass the homeowner details into the service request form to further streamline the process if the builder wishes to do so.

Can a homeowner add to or update their home's information?

Yes. Homeowners can snap a pic of the product label or box or add details like manufacturer, model, and serial number manually.

What happes if a KeyCode is lost or damaged?

Submit a replacement request through HomeKey's Builder Support Center or contact your Customer Success manager. We will assign a new KeyCode and ship within 48 hours.
